Join us for a night of music, and conversation with guitarist and composer Nathan Salsburg and farmer and writer Nic Theisen. This is the second in the series &ldquo;In Good Company,&rdquo; pairing local musicians and artists (be they visual artists, poet, dancer, or writer). Each evening will explore how different disciplines see and influence each other and how our shared place is refracted through each unique lens. With host Joan Shelley, we will explore the challenges and gifts of creating and working in northern Michigan. Writing the weekly letters and recipes that go out with their boxes of vegetables, Nic has a distinct style that humorously reflects the life of the food and the toil and devotion it requires.
