Drawing From Observation Free workshop for beginners - 3 hrsActivity for young and adult artists (13 years old and up) Sketching is more than just making a quick drawing; it&rsquo;s a powerful tool for studying nature and capturing ideas that can later inspire finished artworks. By sketching regularly, we build a personal visual library that helps us recreate scenes from our imagination. In the first hour of the session, I will do an introduction and a guided exercise using a simple but effective tool: the &ldquo;Albrecht D&uuml;rer Perspective Window.&rdquo; We&rsquo;ll use this to explore the basics of perspective and look at how these principles are applied to sketch real places. After the demo, we&rsquo;ll sketch inside and outside of Underdog Bookstore, where you&#39;ll choose your favorite view and sketch on location. This is a great chance to apply what we&rsquo;ve learned and sharpen your observational drawing skills. To wrap up, we&rsquo;ll come together to look at some of the sketches and offer friendly, constructive feedback.Feel free to bring your favorite drawing materials, such as pens, markers, pencils, or charcoal.
