In Cherokee culture, the spider represents creativity and being good with your hands.&nbsp; Kananesgi creates opportunities for EBCI artists and designers to create, grow, and share their work. Beyond the runway, the event provides professional and business development, workforce opportunities, and a space for Cherokee people to explore and express their identity through art and fashion. The Kananesgi Fashion Show features original collections from EBCI designers alongside a select group of guest Indigenous designers. This year, we are excited to welcome Leslie Deer of L.A.
