Kids Pinch Pot Monsters Workshop

Let imagination run wild in this kid-friendly ceramics workshop where students create their own pinch pot monsters! Using simple pinch pot techniques, young artists will shape clay into small creature bodies, then bring them to life with playful additions like eyes, horns, teeth, tentacles, and textured skin. The class focuses on basic handbuilding skills while encouraging creativity, storytelling, and fun experimentation with form and expression. Kids will learn how to join clay pieces securely, add surface details, and explore glazing to finish their unique monsters. Perfect for beginners, this workshop offers a supportive and engaging environment where children can build confidence with clay while designing one-of-a-kind monster friends to take home.Ages 8+
