This 60 minute virtual workshop creates space to notice, validate, and externalize pain, without problem-solving, pathologizing, or forcing positivity. Using whatever art materials you have at home, we&#39;ll engage in an expressive visual dialog with our pain, arriving at new understanding through form, color, and texture. The session will include a short grounding exercise, an adaptive art directive, and gentle reflection. No art experience necessary! Kaitlin Maud, ATR-P, LPC Associate, is a mixed media artist, Art Therapist, and founder of Maud and Moon, a creative therapy studio in Austin, Texas. She supports adults navigating trauma, chronic illness, disability, and neurodivergence through creative expression. Kaitlin lives with Fibromyalgia, which shapes both her clinical perspective and her respect for the ways art expresses what words cannot. Kaitlin brings her belief in art as advocacy to her work as both an artist and facilitator with the Chronic Pain Project.
