While Pysanky were banned during the soviet era for promoting Ukrainian nationalism and religion, families would create them in secret with the knowledge that this practice was punishable by death. Ukrainian diaspora in the US and Canada kept this tradition alive for many years until it could safely be practiced again in Ukraine.  Help us continue to keep this tradition alive by creating our own Pysanky in a Masterclass taught by Natalia Savchyn and hosted by UNWLA Branch 10.  With this fundraiser, we are raising money for much needed medical supplies for Ukrainian defenders. It allows medics to identify the critical areas of internal injuries and internal bleeding to more accurately triage unstable patients and save lives.
