Park Takeover Summer Museum Days&nbsp; This summer, we are inviting our families to intentionally expose our children to the beauty, creativity, and knowledge housed right here in San Diego&rsquo;s museums. Museums expand imagination. They strengthen critical thinking. They introduce our children to science, art, history, and innovation in ways that textbooks cannot. When children see themselves in spaces of learning and culture, it reinforces confidence, curiosity, and possibility. Regular museum visits nurture observation skills, patience, creativity, and a deeper connection to the world around them. We ask that families register for all three Museum Day dates to ensure you receive your Balboa Explorer Pass, which guarantees free access. When you attend all three scheduled visits, you automatically meet the annual requirement to renew your pass &mdash; allowing your family free museum access for the entire year. During our Summer Museum Days, we will gather at the Balboa Park Fountain in front of the Fleet Science Center and walk together to the museum we are visiting that day. Specific museums will be announced before summer begins. Each gathering includes fresh fruit and water for our children, and most importantly, intentional time spent learning and growing together in community. We look forward to walking, learning, and exploring alongside you.
