Coming Full Circle There is something divinely poetic about where we&#39;re gathering this night.Judson Memorial Church was MCN&#39;s first home. In the aftermath of 9/11, when Muslim communities in New York faced fear, backlash, and isolation, Judson opened its doors to us. It became the place where MCN was born&mdash;where we held our first programs, built our first relationships, and proved that Muslims belonged in this city&#39;s civic life. Since then, MCN has moved through leased offices, rented spaces, and temporary arrangements&mdash;always borrowed, never owned. We&#39;ve served 10,000 New Yorkers annually from spaces that weren&#39;t truly ours. We&#39;ve grown our work across all five boroughs while operating from places we could be displaced from at any moment. We&#39;ve built power without owning the building. Until now.
