This is a Whatcom County community event and fundraiser for charities working to resist I.C.E. oppression. &nbsp;It will be held in the sanctuary of the Bellingham Unitarian Fellowship. &nbsp;Clyde W. Ford, local author and director of the Martin Luther King Jr. Library Publishers Project of HarperCollins, will read excerpts from his new book A High Price For Freedom: Raising Hidden Voices From The African American Past&nbsp;and will answer questions. Following the reading, copies of the book will be on sale downstairs in the Social Hall where Mr. Ford will be happy to sign them. &nbsp;A portion of the book sales and your donations will be distributed to local charities working to help resist I.C.E. oppression.
