Jason Smith is a retired U.S. Army Special Forces Medic and the hands behind HoboForge Survival. He shapes each blade at his own forge, letting the hammer marks and the honest scar of unfinished steel stand as proof of the work. Nothing here came off an assembly line.

A hand-forged axe with a full-length hickory handle and a custom leather sheath: belt-ready, weighted to swing, the kind of tool that splits kindling or clears a trail without complaint
A matching hand-forged knife in its own leather sheath, with a hardwood handle whose grain catches the light: razor-edged and built for a lifetime of camp, field, and fireside work
A tin of artisan blade balm to keep both edges protected, conditioned, and ready

The patchwork is a full tribute in red, white, and blue, bold star blocks and stripes, deep navy and burgundy paisley, and printed panels carrying the words that matter
