Park Takeover is excited to offer our&nbsp;Hydroponics System Raffle, a special opportunity to support youth programming while gaining the chance to grow your own fresh food at home. Each raffle ticket is&nbsp;$5, and you may purchase&nbsp;as many entries as you would like&nbsp;to increase your chances of winning. Twice a year, Park Takeover gives away a&nbsp;hydroponic growing system&nbsp;to help a family or community member begin their journey into sustainable food growing. Hydroponics allows plants to grow using nutrient-rich water instead of soil, making it possible to grow fresh herbs, vegetables, and greens indoors year-round. &nbsp;Why we do thisThrough Park Takeover&rsquo;s programming, we teach youth and families about:&bull; food sovereignty&bull; environmental stewardship&bull; plant science and sustainable growing&bull; healthy living and access to fresh food Funds raised from this raffle help us continue offering free educational programs, art workshops, and nature-based learning experiences for children and families in our community. &nbsp;Winner AnnouncementThe raffle winner will be announced at our&nbsp;Park Takeover Youth Art Show Fundraiser, where we celebrate the creativity and achievements of the youth in our programs. Your participation helps nurture the next generation of artists, thinkers, growers, and leaders.
