The mission is to enhance the quality of life for youth by promoting self-empowerment, skill development, mental wellness, and access to vital resources. They provide a safe haven through programming, events, and opportunities that encourage personal growth and success. Held annually in July at domestic or international destinations, the retreat allows youth to experience cultural enrichment beyond their everyday environment. Through real-life simulation workshops, mentees apply skills from the BLK Girls N Sync program, gaining self-awareness, mental wellness, and leadership skills. Past retreats in the Poconos, Florida, New Orleans, and Puerto Rico have provided unforgettable experiences. The 2025 retreat will continue to empower young girls to grow into confident leaders and changemakers.
