This unforgettable evening celebrates nearly five decades of hope, resilience, and transformation for Rhode Island&#39;s Latino and immigrant communities while raising critical funds to support programs that empower families through education, workforce development, health services, and advocacy. The evening begins with a Cash Bar and Cocktail Hour from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., followed by Dinner and the Awards Program at 7:00 p.m. Guests will then enjoy dancing and live entertainment by Chocoband, featuring plena, bachata, merengue, salsa, and more.This year&#39;s gala will feature Keynote Speaker Dioscaris R. Garcia, Ph.D., and Honorary Chair Omallys Hopper of Cooking con Omi. During the celebration, Progreso Latino will recognize the outstanding contributions of the Nellie Mae Education Foundation, the Rhode Island Office of Healthy Aging &ndash; Older Adult Programs Team, and VNA of New England &ndash; Blackstone Health for their unwavering commitment to strengthening our community.
