You don't have to pay anything; the event is free. Even so, if you'd like to contribute, please do. Quarterly Writing Workshop Series – Archetypes of the TarotWhy archetypes matter: Archetypes are universal patterns of experience that resonate instantly with readers. In poetry, they can work as a hidden current, giving a single image or line the weight of a collective story. When a writer taps into an archetype, the symbol carries mythic associations, emotional depth, and a built‑in narrative arc, all of which can turn a brief stanza or chapter into a vivid, resonant whole. Through our generative writing, we will explore the timeless power of archetypes through the vivid symbols of the Tarot’s Major Arcana. Over four quarterly sessions, we will move from theory to practice, using the cards as a toolbox for character and story development, plot structure, and thematic depth. Who Should Join * Fiction writers, poets, and storytellers seeking fresh creative fuel. * Writers‑in‑progress who want to deepen character work and thematic resonance. * Anyone curious about Tarot symbolism and its narrative potential—no prior Tarot knowledge required.
