Explore abstraction with the 2026 Artist of the Year, Sandy Whitby!&nbsp; This hands-on workshop helps you discover abstraction by noticing elements such as line, shape, color, texture, rhythm, contrast, and negative space in both artwork and the ordinary world, with the goal is to experiment and discover. You&rsquo;ll walk through the Museum with Sandy to see her exhibition, then experiment with color, shape, and texture in the Semmes Studio to see familiar subjects in new ways, guided by Sandy&rsquo;s process and experience. No advanced experience is required&mdash;just curiosity and a willingness to play with ideas on paper or canvas.
