For the third year, Compassionate Atlanta, in partnership with Legacy Park Decatur, are offering Serenity Within: The 2026 Legacy Self Compassion Series,&nbsp;a monthly community gathering grounded in restoration, relationship, and care for the common good.&nbsp;Each month, neighbors will come together at Legacy Park for an evening of gentle healing practices, followed by conversation, light snacks, and the opportunity to learn about the work of a featured Decatur nonprofit. All proceeds from each gathering support that organization directly.&nbsp;For February 2026, Compassionate Atlanta opens the series up.&nbsp;We are a local nonprofit that brings people together to build kinder, healthier communities. Our mission is to help people learn, practice, and share compassion in everyday life. We work across Georgia with neighbors, schools, faith communities, nonprofits, and local organizations to help everyone feel seen, valued, and connected. Through gatherings, conversations, storytelling, and community programs, we help reduce loneliness, support mental health, and strengthen relationships.
