2 Day - Beginning Stained Glass Workshop

Discover stained glass from first cut to final polish in this hands-on, two-day beginner class.&nbsp;You&rsquo;ll learn to design a simple pattern, safely cut glass, grind glass to fit correctly apply copper foil, and solder your own finished piece to take home. Proper safety techniques, design considerations and creating smooth solder will be taught. &nbsp;Students can make their own simple pattern or use an instructor designed pattern. &nbsp;Average completed project will have 5 - 7 pieces. Instructor will provide all tools and equipment. &nbsp;Some glass will be available and included, or students may choose to purchase glass (Available during class or retail establishment of choice). &nbsp;Solder, foil, flux and cleaning materials provided. Students must be over the age of 16. &nbsp;Safety glasses and closed shoes (no flip flops or sandals) required.
