Beat the heat and start your week by getting outside in community. Join EarthLab at Byrd Park on the evening of Sunday August 9th. We&#39;ll gather with s&rsquo;mores and then explore together through a playful nature walk. What to Expect:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Casual Vibes &ndash; No naturalist or science background required.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Field Walk &ndash; Head out for a guided walk and learn about some of our local species. We&#39;ll have field guides and hand lenses to share</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Scavenger Hunt &ndash; Your curiosity will drive what we explore, , and we&#39;ll also focus on local bird and plant species.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Community Connection &ndash; Share the experience with fellow folks who love exploring nature.</li></ul>📅 Date: August 9th, 2026 ⏰ Time: 6:00pm - 7:30pm 📍Location: Byrd Park, will share exact meetup location after registration 🎟️ Tickets: Free, suggested donation $8 Spots are limited!🔹 Who Should Come? The walk will be geared toward youth and adults ages 11+, but young people of any age accompanied by a parent/guardian are welcome. 🔹 What to Bring? Comfortable shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, a water bottle, and a sense of wonder. A nature journal if you have one (but if not, that&#39;s ok!)🔹 Will there be vegan s&#39;mores options?&nbsp;There sure will!
