The law enforcement front line emergency medical response train-the-trainer course is an innovative training program for sworn peace officers which interweaves classroom learning, hands-on skills building, and reality-based training scenarios designed to enhance officers&#39; lifesaving skills under stress. The course provides up-to-date science and research to ensure law enforcement is provided with the high-performance resuscitation training needed for incorporation in the field.&nbsp; This 2-day course is designed to bring the participant from student to trainer providing students realistic field conditions, stress inoculation, instructor development, and curriculum framework for time-sensitive medical emergencies which law enforcement frequently respond to. This course utilizes experienced evaluators, live actors, high-fidelity feedback manikins, bleeding simulators and more to evaluate and enhance participants&rsquo; lifesaving skills. Day 1 is comprised of classroom learning, skills-building, and reality-based training scenarios. Day 2 transitions the student to trainer with course faculty providing the principles, concepts and educational materials to the trainer candidate who can then go on to train fellow law enforcement.&nbsp; This course will be hosted by America&#39;s Sheriff Mark Lamb at the Lamb Ranch, his private property. There are limited amount of rooms on property for students to stay at and it&#39;s first come, first serve booking. This Training has been sponsored and donated to you generously by Philips.&nbsp;&nbsp;This is a physical course, and you will need to bring your duty belt, vest, handcuffs, a box of PPE gloves, and cuff key to this training. On day 2 we recommend you bring a laptop or tablet for reality-based training development and to register you as trainers for multiple certifications. You will go through a classroom learning phase, hands on skills-building phase, and reality-based training scenarios where you will put your lifesaving skills to the test under realistic field conditions. Weapons will need to be secured for the field scenario portion. Blue training guns, training AEDs, emergency hemorrhage control gear, training Narcan, and other medical supplies will be issued and returned in training.&nbsp; Lunch will be provided as this course will have a working lunch. If you have dietary restrictions or wish to pack your own lunch, please feel free to do so. There will be plenty of recovery time and hydration breaks between scenarios. Please hydrate before training. There will be limited rooms available at the Lamb Ranch for students to stay. Booking will be first come, first serve at a special rate.
