Your registration greatly helps our mission. 🚀 Date/Time: Sunday, February 22, 2026 / 2-4 PM Location: Legacy Park Administrative Building, 500 S. Columbia Drive, Decatur, GA 30030 (*Note:&nbsp;following Google maps may take you to the building behind the administrative building. Regardless of whether you are coming from Memorial Drive or E. College Avenue, take the second entrance into Legacy Park from S. Columbia Drive. The Administrative building is right in front of the main circle.) It is the two story building with two columns with the roundabout in front of it. See images below.&nbsp; As an FYI, Jess Mador, a health reporter from WABE, is likely to join the event and will be reporting on the positive impact we are having on our community by coming together for this event. Who can attend? Any community member, including CDC staff (past and present), first responders, and anyone else who wants to have a meaningful impact on their community&#39;s health and well-being. Kids are welcome to come, but parents are responsible for their children (no childcare provided). As long as they follow food safety guidelines, they are welcome to volunteer or color at a nearby art table! What can I bring/do? We ask that you donate a minimum of $5 per person to help support purchase of sandwich supplies and care package materials. Feel free to bring gently used hats, scarves, socks, and gloves for inclusion in care packages.&nbsp; What would I be doing at the event?&nbsp;Help to assemble sandwiches and care packages for our local community members experiencing food insecurity. What should I keep in mind when I attend? For the safety of others around you and those who are receiving sandwiches, please do not attend if you are feeling sick. Please tie back long hair for food safety purposes; we will provide some hair ties if needed. You will be asked to wash your hands and wear gloves prior to sandwich assembly. I can&#39;t attend!&nbsp;Can I still help? Yes, absolutely!
