The River’s Reach: A Riverbend Photo ExhibitionPresented by Jacoby Arts Center June - July 2026 Call for Entry: Jacoby Arts Center invites photographers to submit work for "The River’s Reach," a juried exhibition exploring the landscape, culture, industry, spirit, and people shaped by the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers. The Theme: We are looking for images inspired by the river’s influence on our region. The river does not need to be the primary subject. We encourage entries that capture the bluffs, the bottomlands, the wildlife, the industry, the spirit, and the people of the Riverbend. Exhibitions at JAC: JACOBY ARTS CENTER is a 501c3 non profit that nurtures and promotes the practice and appreciation of the arts through Education, Exhibitions, Cultural Programming, and Outreach Initiatives. JAC exhibitions are organized and juried by a volunteer exhibit committee committed to connecting the community through art. This contest mirrors the "Plein Air" spirit. We value the photographer's ability to compose a shot in the field rather than reconstructing it digitally.Q: Can I submit a photo that won an award in another contest? Yes. As long as the photo was taken within the timeframe (May 2025–May 2026) and the geographic radius, it is eligible regardless of its history in other competitions.Q: Can I submit a photo of my own child or grandchild?
