Get ready for an afternoon of friendly competition, cold drinks, and a great cause.Join us on Saturday, April 18th starting at noon at Around the Corner in Lakewood for our charity Water Pong Tournament &mdash; where the cups are filled with water, but the energy is anything but watered down. The game is essentially beer pong with water instead of the beer.&nbsp; This is a 2-person team, tournament (details on rules/format to come), so bring your best partner and your A-game. Whether you&rsquo;re in it to win it or just in it for the laughs, this event is all about community, competition, and raising money for an incredible mission. The winning team players each&nbsp;receive a college champion starter pack which includes: a large trophy, a case of natural lite, a case of ramen noodles all in a top of the line&nbsp;laundry basket. Participants must be 21 and older. All proceeds go to the Carter Nedley Foundation, a Cleveland-based non-profit dedicated to serving children and families affected by cancer. We&#39;ll also have a special appearance by Hopper (a specially trained service dog that provides emotional support, therapy and love to the patients and families of the UH inpatient cancer unit.
