Event Schedule: Wednesday, October 21 &nbsp; - 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM: Welcome Reception at TAGDuring the reception, you will receive information regarding properties where owners have granted permission for painting.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; We do not mark or number your canvases.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;Please note that you are welcome to begin painting as soon as you arrive in town.&nbsp; &nbsp; For those who have been here previously, most of the same properties will be open to you. Thursday, October 22&nbsp; &nbsp;Explore &amp; Paint Friday, October 23&nbsp; &nbsp;Explore &amp; Paint&nbsp; &nbsp;1:00-2:00 PM: Free picnic for painters and the spouses/significant others who have accompanied them. &nbsp;Location TBD. Saturday, October 24&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; We will arrange a Quick Paint, for those interested, in the morning. &nbsp;More info to come.&nbsp; &nbsp; 5:30 Art on the Wall&nbsp;located at the Tappahannock Fire Hall, 620 Airport Road&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; This is a ticketed event for the public to come view and hopefully purchase the paintings you will paint during the week.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Returning artists will note that this event is not in the lovely dining hall of St. Margarets on the river. &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Unfortunately the Episcopal Diocese of VA shut SMS down last FAll and it is unavailable to us.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Art on the Wall is free to you and includes food and drink (one free bar drink or wine). &nbsp;Spouses/Significant Others are half price to cover our costs.&nbsp; &nbsp; 4:00 Please have your art ready for display and hung. &nbsp; &nbsp; Each artist has one side of a screen approximately 3&#39; wide and 5&#39; tall. &nbsp;You may fit as many as you like on that one screen.&nbsp; &nbsp; It is a well lit large room but you might consider bringing battery lighting to augment the lighting on your paintings.&nbsp; &nbsp; Only works painted during this week can be displayed. &nbsp; &nbsp; We will ask you to provide us with information about your paintings during the week prior to the event so we can have them entered in Square early to speed up sales.&nbsp; &nbsp; Paige and Frank will work with you about that and provide more information. &nbsp; Commission is 30% to TAG. &nbsp;We are a nonprofit volunteer 501(C)3 providing a space for artists to show their work. &nbsp;TAG also works with other nonprofits and provides classes to the community. &nbsp;Your commission helps to keep us open. Nine of you have asked for host housing and 3 others I&#39;m not sure about and will touch base with you. &nbsp;We will do our best to find places for you. &nbsp;TAG and the community look forward to having you as guests and seeing the works you create. As we find out about other events in the area that weekend, we will let you know, as they could be interesting painting opportunities.
