Time, Slightly Unstuck St. John’s in the Village has become our new home for our annual Fall concert, and we couldn’t be more excited to perform this evening of fun, poetic and quirky music! We’ll be premiering Sweet Dance Suite, Unfurnished, a fun new work by San Fransisco based Mark Winges, as well as Poplars Near Nuenen by Will Jefferies, the winner of our 2026 8SW Composer Competition, inspired by Van Gogh's masterpiece of the same name, An encore performance of Ingrid Stölzel's beautiful Waves Within a Tide which was inspired by the poem Listening by American poet Amy Lowell, and we're revisiting New York's own, Edmund Cionek's Bad Robots, an "homage" to our soon-to-be AI overlords! We will finish with a trio we recently discovered by the late 19th/early 20th French composer and violinist, Antoine Taudou –– a beautiful romantic style work in four movements. We literally can't find any evidence of this having been performed before and there are no recordings - so a good chance this will be a US Premiere.
