Join W3 Bee-Long for&nbsp;Prepare Before the Scare: Stage Five &ndash; Firefighter familiarity,&nbsp;an opportunity designed to help build familiarity before an emergency ever happens. Participants will have the opportunity to meet firefighters, explore a fire truck through a Touch-A-Truck experience, see firefighters in full uniform, and become familiar with equipment used during fire emergencies. The session will begin with a gentle introduction to low siren sounds in a supportive, lower-sensory environment. Participants will also take part in simple role-play and visual activities focused on what to do&mdash;and what not to do&mdash;during a fire, including why it is important not to hide. This experience is designed with individuals with exceptionalities in mind and includes plenty of room for movement, participation at each person&rsquo;s comfort level, and fun along the way. Our goal is simple: practice outside of the challenging situation, so the real situation feels a little more familiar.
