WEEKDAY BIRD WALK IN RANCOCAS STATE PARK, WESTAMPTON (Irick Road entrance)
Tuesday. May 5 8 to 9/9:30 AM
Join Rancocas Nature Center associate naturalists in search of birds in the western section of the state park. In addition to year-round resident species, we hope to see seasonal migrants passing through. The trails are mostly hard sand or gravel, occasional hills, and a mix of wooded and open areas. This is a relaxed pace, 1 to 1.5 hours walk. All skill levels are welcome. Bring binoculars and wear walking shoes. Loaner binoculars are available—reserve a pair ahead of time. The program is free. A Rancocas Nature Center membership or a donation is suggested. Meet in the Irick Road parking lot. Inclement weather cancels.
