Founded in 2010, 100 Black Men of Central Virginia aims to improve community life and eliminate the achievement gap for African American male students through mentoring. Originating in 2008 as a dialogue among community leaders, the organization provides programs like the High School Scholars Program and M Cubed to recognize scholarly achievement and promote algebra readiness.
Mission
The 100 Black Men of Central Virginia advocates for the elimination of the achievement gap of African American males in grades K-12.
