4 R Friends, also known as The Street Vets, is an all-volunteer, donor-funded animal rescue and community support organization based in Sacramento, CA. Founded in 2011, their mission is to reduce animal suffering by providing life-saving emergency care to stray, abandoned, and neglected pets in underserved communities through free mobile clinics. They also operate a Rescue/Re-Home program to prevent animal cruelty.
