The Adult Learning Center (ALC) in Anchorage, AK, empowers students to gain skills for responsible citizenship, instills a love for learning, and fosters a caring, respectful environment that values diversity. ALC helps students earn high school diplomas and learn English as a Second Language, enabling Alaskans to secure jobs and achieve their life goals.

The Adult Learning Center's mission is to empower students to develop skills that are necessary to become responsible citizens, instill the desire for learning, and foster a caring environment which promotes habits of mutual respect and honesty and that values diversity and creativity.
