The Advocates for the American Osteopathic Association (AAOA), founded in 1950, is a nonprofit comprised of spouses, friends, and family of osteopathic physicians and supporters. The AAOA supports the osteopathic profession through grants, scholarships, community education, and projects. They educate the community, contact legislators, support osteopathic students and curb teen suicide.
