The Air Medical Memorial, founded in 2009, is the only national memorial recognizing all air medical losses and dedicated to honoring the sacrifice of over 400 air medical crew members who lost their lives while saving others. It was founded by brothers Kevin and Steven Sweeney in memory of friends lost in air medical accidents.
Mission
The Air Medical Memorial honors flight crews who died in the line of active duty. It is the only national memorial recognizing all air medical losses and dedicated to recognizing the sacrifice of air medical crew members.
