About
The All-Hazards Incident Management Teams Association (AHIMTA), incorporated in 2010, is a dedicated group of incident management, emergency management, and public safety professionals. It promotes and enhances the profession of incident management by establishing standards and fostering cooperation among federal, state, local, tribal agencies, NGOs, and the private sector. AHIMTA provides leadership and education to IMTs and supports the Interstate Qualifications System (IQS).
Mission
AHIMTA fosters relationships with various agencies to improve disaster response, provides leadership and education to incident management teams, and promotes the profession of incident management by establishing standards.
