Established in 1963, Alum Creek VFD provides fire and rescue services to over 2000 homes and businesses across 112 square miles in Kanawha and Lincoln counties. As a 100% volunteer-staffed department, they operate from three stations, serving a mostly rural area and the Hatfield-McCoy Ivy Branch trail system. They strive to reduce insurance premiums and provide the best possible service to their community.
