The American Legion Sgt Walter A Adams Post 1021 in Averill Park, NY, founded in 1946, supports veterans and the community through various programs. These include Memorial Day decorations, the Field of Honor, holiday gifts for veterans, donations to organizations like the Regional Food Bank, and fundraising for veteran activities. They also host events such as the Honoring Our Vets Car Show and provide Christmas food baskets.
