The American Legion Post 242 in Quakertown, PA, chartered in 1920, welcomes veterans from all branches of the Armed Forces. Proud of its Auxiliary and Sons of Legion units, which gained recognition for service programs. It honors Memorial Day, Veterans' Day and holds a 9/11 Ceremony. Post 242 sponsors scholarships and supports community projects, embodying a commitment to veterans, their families, and the nation's youth.

American Legion Post 242 enables members to continue serving their God, Country, and Community. Their mission is to implement the goals, aspirations, dreams, peace and blessings for our country, friends and families.
