About
The American Legion, Charles E Price Post 57 in Carthage, TN, was founded in 1919 by WWI veterans to support veterans in Smith County. Named after 2nd Lieutenant Charley E. Price, it aims to enhance the well-being of veterans, their families, and communities through mutual helpfulness. The Legion offers community and youth programs, financial aid, and support for military families.
Mission
The American Legion Post 57's mission is to implement the goals, aspirations, dreams, peace and blessings for our country, friends and families embodied in our preamble below. They welcome veterans from all branches of the Armed Forces.
