About
The American Medical Tennis Association (AMTA), est. 1975, provides Continuing Medical Education for physicians and promotes a healthy lifestyle through tennis. Founded by Dr. Bill McGannon and Bill Drake, it hosts bi-annual meetings. AMTA also inspired the World Medical Tennis Society. Today, membership includes other health professionals.
Mission
The American Medical Tennis Association (AMTA) offers tennis-playing physicians five-day meetings with scientific sessions for CME credit and a tennis tournament for all skill levels. It was founded to bring tennis-playing physicians together to earn CME credit while sharing their mutual interest in tennis.
