Founded in 1971, the American Society for Adolescent Psychiatry (ASAP) is dedicated to preventing and treating mental health disorders in adolescents and young adults. ASAP provides continuing medical education (CME) for psychiatrists and other professionals, improving their ability to diagnose and manage psychiatric conditions. ASAP promotes advocacy, education, and research to improve the mental health of adolescents and emerging adults.
