Americans for Battlefield Preservation (founded in 2007) raises awareness of endangered US battlegrounds. This non-partisan group educates lawmakers, supports public funding, and trains advocates in grassroots organizing to protect these historic sites, which serve as outdoor classrooms to educate the public about military conflicts.
