Anchorage Festival of Music, founded in 1956, enriches Alaska's music scene by providing performance and learning opportunities for local musicians and audiences. AFM organizes annual concerts featuring classical, baroque, and contemporary music. It also sponsors the Young Alaskan Artist Award, supporting aspiring young performers.
