The Animal Protection League, founded in 1994, supports the Stockton Animal Shelter and the community. Their mission is advancing animal welfare through education, resources, and low-cost/free spay & neuter services for local dogs and cats. They opened San Joaquin County's first low-cost spay/neuter clinic in 2024.
