AnimaLovers, founded in 1995 to aid needy cats/dogs in NY's Capital District, merged with Whiskers in June 2024. Together, they provide comfort, safety, and care to homeless, abandoned, and abused cats, finding them loving homes. Whiskers, an all-volunteer, no-kill shelter, pledges lifetime care, specializing in animals with no advocate, ensuring they are spayed/neutered.
Mission
AnimaLovers and Whiskers have merged to rescue and advocate for cats in need, providing comfort, safety, and care to homeless, abandoned, and abused cats in the New York Capital Region, and ultimately finding them loving forever homes.
