ASVAC, founded in 1962, is a non-profit, all-volunteer ambulance corps serving the Ardsley-Secor community. They formed when Dobbs Ferry Hospital discontinued ambulance service. ASVAC relies on volunteers who are dedicated to community safety and helping people in times of need. ASVAC receives no funding from village taxes.
Mission
ASVAC is a non-profit organization supported by community donations and a third-party billing system. They formed when Dobbs Ferry Community Hospital could no longer provide ambulance service to surrounding communities.
