The Association of Professors of Human and Medical Genetics (APHMG), est. 1995, supports genetics education and educators. APHMG promotes continuous development and improvement in genetics academic programs in North American medical and graduate schools, with emphasis on education, administration, and advocacy. They hold workshops and are involved in academic activities, providing a platform for professors to exchange ideas and develop curriculum guidelines.
