AventWest Community Development Corporation (AWCDC), founded in 2002, enhances the lives of the AventWest community in Raleigh, NC. AWCDC cultivates relationships with children and families, expanding access to economic and academic advancement through direct services and community partnerships. Their focus includes AventWest Children's Mentoring, an afterschool tutoring program providing academic support, enrichment activities, meals, and mentoring to students. AWCDC also provides education, food, supplies, medical assistance, housing, and transportation to the underprivileged.
