Programs & Services
Mentor Programme
{Mentorship programme is designed to help teens find the career path that best suits them.}
Preschool Program
Provides a nurturing preschool program for children ages 3-5, focusing on developmental appropriateness with options for 2 or 3 days a week.
Pre-K Program
Offers Pre-Kindergarten classes, including half-day AM/PM and full-day options, designed to prepare older 3-year-olds to young 5-year-olds for Kindergarten.
Monday Club
An optional enrichment program on Mondays for Pre-K children, fostering friendships and exploring diverse units like authors, gardening, rainforests, and community helpers.

About
Barrington Early Childhood Center (BECC) has a rich history dating back to 1955. Originally a laboratory school for Barrington College, it became a non-profit in 1985 thanks to dedicated parents and students. BECC offers preschool, PreK, and Monday Club programs. BECC is a respected institution serving families in Barrington and surrounding communities. A full-day Pre-Kindergarten class was added in 2017.
Mission
Barrington Early Childhood Center believes that children are competent, curious, resourceful, imaginative, active and inventive. Their role is to develop a child’s present abilities and support them to move forward at their own pace by building on knowledge and experiences.
