Berkeley Model United Nations (BMUN), est. 1952, is a student-run organization at UC Berkeley. As the world's first UN simulation, it hosts 2,000+ high school students annually to spread awareness of global issues and diplomacy. BMUN aims to educate and empower students in public speaking and policy debate through diverse committee simulations.
Mission
BMUN's mission is to spread awareness of international issues and the spirit of diplomacy through UN simulations. They also aim to create an educational experience for high school students, helping them realize their potential in areas such as public speaking and policy debate.
