About
Beta Omega Social Services (BOSS), est. 2003, improves well-being in DC's underserved communities. Founded by the DC Alumni chapter of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc., BOSS offers youth programs in health, education, and scholarships, including the Michael J. Gilbert & Marlene L. Johnson Memorial Scholarships. They focus on training programs mitigating issues among DC minority youth.
Mission
Beta Omega Social Services improves the well-being of youth and families in Washington DC by offering training and mentorship programs. They focus on nutrition, physical fitness, healthy relationships, career development, and academic advancement to help individuals achieve financial stability, graduate high school, and lead healthier lives.
