The Bethany Land Trust, est. 1968, is dedicated to conserving land in Bethany, CT, and neighboring areas. As a 501(c)(3) organization, they preserve ~728 acres through ownership & easements. Lands are open for hiking, nature study & recreation, preserving habitat and enhancing the Bethany trails system. They focus on acquiring land that connects habitats.
