About
Founded in 1990, Blind Foundation for India (BFI) aims to prevent and cure blindness in India, while educating and rehabilitating the permanently blind. BFI has raised over $6 million since 1991, with over 92% directly aiding the blind. It has restored sight to 200,000+ people, treated over a million through free eye camps, distributed Braille kits, and provided rehabilitation. BFI also donates mobile vans and ophthalmic equipment to hospitals across India.
